It was a very tasty experience during the weekend especially. Authentic food served on a fresh banana leaf imported all the way from Tamil Nadu. The fish thali was out of the world and the closing with the amazing dessert ‘Jigarthanda’ made our visit so memorable! Personal care and cooking by owner Prasanna and wife was very special indeed.

Went for a Saturday dinner at Namma Madurai. The people were very sweet and it felt like home. We tried the mutton biriyani, prawn fry, mutton chukka and porotta. Dinner was served in banana leaf. All of them were very tasty. If not for anything please just got for the mutton, they source it from a farm (you would definitely know the difference if you have eaten mutton in Scarborough area) the milk. Thank you for having us

Visited this South Indian restaurant on a weekday for lunch. It’s a tiny little place with 4 tables but the food was amazing. The staff were super friendly and attentive. The food was a tad bit spicy for my palate but it was delicious. Food was served on banana leaves which made it more authentic. I really appreciate that they weren’t playing loud music playing in the background.
